Mirror Text Horizontal
Mirror Text Horizontal approximates a left-to-right reflection with copyable Unicode lookalikes.
Example: mirror text horizontal
abc
ɔdɒ
How to use this tool
- Paste the text and keep line breaks where each reflection should stop.
- Run the horizontal mirror operation.
- Check substituted glyphs and unchanged symbols in the rendered result before copying.
How the result is made
For each line, the tool reverses grapheme order and substitutes supported characters with horizontally mirrored-looking symbols. For example, “abc” is displayed with lookalike shapes in reverse order. Reversing order alone would make “cba”; the substitutions create a more mirror-like appearance. Newline order stays fixed.
When to use it
Use this for a reflected label, playful message, or visual experiment where the characters should appear to face the other way. Reverse Text only changes order. Mirror Text Vertical keeps order while changing glyph shapes, and Flip Text combines upside-down shapes with reversed order for a rotation effect.
Details to check
Unicode does not contain an exact reflected partner for every letter, digit, or symbol. Unsupported characters stay as they were, and fonts may render the substitutes differently. This output is text rather than a geometrically mirrored image, so inspect it in the destination app before relying on its appearance.
Questions people ask
Is this a true image mirror?
No. It uses Unicode lookalikes and reversed order.
Why did some letters stay unchanged?
The mapping has no suitable lookalike for every character.
How is it different from Flip Text?
Flip Text uses upside-down substitutes and reverses order to suggest a 180-degree turn.
