Encoding & Extraction
Encoding and extraction tools represent text for a particular format or pull patterns from it. None of these encodings is encryption, and extracted matches still need review.

Match the format to the destination
URL Encoder Decoder uses percent encoding for a URL component; its decoder treats plus as a space. Base64 Encoder Decoder represents UTF-8 bytes with Base64 characters. HTML Entity Encoder Decoder handles common special HTML characters, and JSON String Escape Unescape follows JSON string syntax. Using an escape sequence from one context in another can yield incorrect output.

Text to Binary and Text to Hex show UTF-8 bytes in different notations. Unicode Inspector, in the analysis category, shows code points instead of bytes. ROT13 Caesar Cipher shifts only basic Latin letters and is a simple puzzle substitution. URL Slug Generator makes a lowercase ASCII-friendly label by discarding or converting characters; unlike percent encoding, it is not reversible.
Extraction is a starting point
HTML to Plain Text makes a readable approximation of a markup fragment and may omit image alternative text or layout. Email Extractor and URL Extractor use practical patterns, return distinct matches, and do not validate live inboxes or destinations. The URL pattern can retain adjacent punctuation. Review the source before using extracted strings as records or links.
Questions people ask
Is Base64 a security measure?
No; Base64 can be decoded by anyone.
Can I use URL encoding for complete URLs unchanged?
The encoder works on components and also escapes URL structure such as slashes.
Do extracted links get checked online?
No; extraction only finds patterns in supplied text.
