Try invert case

Paste or type text below. The result updates in your browser.

Example: invert case

Input
Hi There
Illustrative result
hI tHERE

How to use this tool

  1. Paste text with the case pattern to flip.
  2. Run Invert Case.
  3. Compare the result to the source, especially for special Unicode letters.

How the result is made

The tool examines each character and applies the opposite case transform. “Hi There” becomes “hI tHERE”. Spaces, punctuation, and digits remain visually unchanged because they have no letter case. This is a per-character operation, so it does not consider word boundaries or sentence meaning.

When to use it

Use it to repair a short accidental case pattern or create a visual contrast sample. Lowercase and Uppercase converters set every cased letter to one direction, while Invert Case flips what is already there. Alternating Case follows a position pattern and gives a different result.

Details to check

Unicode casing is not always a one-character swap, and some letters have no case. A second inversion may not perfectly restore every multilingual string. Review special letters, names, and acronyms after conversion before using the result as final copy.
