Kebab Case Converter
Kebab Case Converter joins detected words with lowercase hyphen separators.
Example: kebab case converter
hello world
hello-world
How to use this tool
- Enter the intended words with visible separators.
- Run Kebab Case to join them with hyphens.
- Check mixed-case tokens and any non-Latin letters before using the result as a URL.
How the result is made
The converter extracts Unicode letter-and-number runs, lowercases them, and joins them with `-`. “hello world” becomes “hello-world”. Punctuation and spaces separate tokens. Unlike the URL Slug Generator, this tool can retain non-Latin letters because its word tokenizer accepts them.
When to use it
Use it for a readable label, CSS-like name draft, or a filename convention that calls for hyphens. Snake Case uses underscores; Camel Case removes separators. For a web URL where ASCII-only output is required, use URL Slug Generator and review its transliteration limits.
Details to check
Existing camelCase text is not split at the internal capital. Acronyms are lowercased, and characters excluded by the tokenizer are removed. Kebab case is a naming convention, not an automatic guarantee that the result is a valid URL or identifier in every environment.

No. This tool can retain non-Latin words; the slug tool produces ASCII.
Does it keep underscores?
No. They become word separators and output hyphens.
Will it detect camelCase?
